If you work long grueling hours for months straight, wouldn’t you want to take a break and be with your family? JoBlo (via The Hollywood Reporter) is reporting this is exactly what Priates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides lead Jonny Depp wants to do, which may push shooting, and potentially release dates.
Depp just finished shooting The Tourist with Angelina Jolie and feels he wants to take some time off from shooting. The first ‘Pirates’ took about four long hard months. Before working again he wants to spend time with his family, which (as many of us forget) normal people want to do.
This may not mean starting the shoot this month is completely off, as scenes that don’t involve his character Jack Sparrow could be filmed. It all comes down to how much time he wants off. If he stays off past September it will be quite a feat to complete the movie by its May 20, 2011 release date.
