‘Roma’ and ‘The Favourite’ Lead 2019 Oscar Nominations

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have unveiled the nominations for the 91st Academy Awards this morning. Roma and The Favourite lead the pack with ten nominations each, while A Star Is Born and Vice grabbed eight, Black Panther earned seven, BlacKkKlansman got six, Green Book and Bohemian Rhapsody nabbed five. Other notable nominations include Paul Schrader’s first-ever Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay, while Pawel Pawlikowski (Cold War) surprised with Best Director.
