Forbes has released their list of the highest-grossing actors in Hollywood this year. No surprise at number 1, as Shutter Island and Inception star Leonardo DiCaprio generated $1.1 billion of revenue. Shutter Island was Martin Scorsese‘s highest grossing film and Inception made a pretty penny for Christopher Nolan, after his mega-success of The Dark Knight.
What does come as a surprise is the number two slot. The star comes from Tim Burton‘s Alice In Wonderland, and one could assume Johnny Depp, but it is actually newcomer Mia Wasikowska. Her other 2010 debut, The Kids Are All Right grossed more than Depp’s recent failure, The Tourist. The rest of the line-up includes Will Smith‘s offspring and sparkly vampires. Univarn brought to our attention that character actor Pete Postlewaithe would likely top the list with Clash of the Titans, Inception, and The Town.

7. Kristen Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, The Runaways, Welcome To The Rileys) – $698 million
8. Sam Worthington (Clash of the Titans) – $494 million
9. Jaden Smith (The Karate Kid) – $359 million
10. Jackie Chan (The Karate Kid) – $359 million
