Two young rising stars in Hollywood may team for a new drama that’s set to be shopped around at the American Film Market. After finding success in The Hunger Games a new project is aiming to link up Josh Hutcherson with Logan Lerman, who is coming off his best role yet in The Perks of Being a Wallflower. The duo, who both tried out for The Amazing Spider-Man, are attached to the project called The BluffMoviehole reports.

Directed by Jonathan Dillon, the film would follow two high school seniors and start off as a comedy as they lead a relatively lowkey life as Superbad-esque dweebs. When one of them hacks into his father’s Ameritrade account and makes a bad bet, they are out $750,000. The solution? When their parents are out of town they head to Las Vegas and enter in the world’s largest poker tournament. It sounds like it could be a fun project, mixing a few genres together. One can see a pitch reel Dillon put together below as we see if this gets any traction at AFM.
