With Gore Verbinski finally wrapping up production after about half-a-year on next summer’s big tentpole The Lone Ranger, the studio has shared some proof of work in the form of a new batch of stills. Featuring our stars Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer, one of the most striking things is a different visual style than his last live-action outing with his star, for the more cartoony Pirates trilogy.
As the team heads out west, we have a starker look — especially in a still featuring some men on horseback. Of course, this could all change in the final product, but these are promising new looks for Disney’s couple hundred million action westerner.
