After rising to the top of Hollywood this year with films like Magic Mike and 21 Jump Street, Channing Tatum is giving himself no time to slow down. Currently in production in Montreal, we’ve got our first look at his next thriller, Roland Emmerich‘s White House Down. Joined by Django Unchained star Jamie Foxx, Entertainment Tonight stopped by the set and grabbed a decent amount of behind-the-scenes footage, showing off some of the fight sequences and getting a better sense of what looks to be a buddy movie, with one of our leads playing the President.

Described in the vein of Die Hard and scripted by James Vanderbilt (Zodiac, The Amazing Spider-Man), the film follows a single father and Secret Service agent (Tatum) who is tasked to protect the president (Foxx) when baddies invade the White House with little chance of escape. Maggie Gyllenhaal, James Wood, Richard Jenkins, Garcelle Beauvais, Lance Reddick, Joey King and the recently added Rachelle Lefevre round out the rest of the cast. Check out the video below.

White House Down hits theaters June 28th, 2013.
