According to Collider, principal filming has begun on Jaume Collet-Serra’s new project Unknown White Male in Germany.  According to Warner Brothers, the film will be shot entirely on location, with some filming at Studio Babelsberg, the oldest large-scale studio complex in the world. The film has a star-studded cast including Liam Neeson, Diane Kruger, January Jones, Aidan Quinn, Bruno Ganz and Frank Langella.

Unknown White Male follows the story of Dr. Martin Harris, (Neeson) who awakens after a car accident in Berlin to discover that his wife ( Jones) suddenly doesn’t recognize him and another man (Quinn) has assumed his identity. Ignored by disbelieving authorities and hunted by mysterious assassins, he finds himself alone, tired, and on the run. Aided by an unlikely ally ( Kruger), Martin plunges headlong into a deadly mystery that will force him to question his sanity, his identity, and just how far he’s willing to go to uncover the truth.

The screenplay has been written by Oliver Butcher, Stephen Cornwell and Karl Gajdusek and is based on the novel Out of My Head by Didier van Cauwelaert.

Unknown White Male has yet to be given a release date but is likely to come out later this year.
