The Hollywood Reporter has announced that Moon director Duncan Jones will be adapting Alex Kershaw’s WWII novel Escape From The Deep. Alex Kershaw will be penning the script. There is still no word whether this will shoot before Jones’s Blade Runner-esque Mute.
Any film with Duncan’s name on it now immediately grabs my interest. Having seen Moon twice now I can say that he is a truly talented filmmaker. I do hope though that Mute goes into production first. The concept art was fantastic and Duncan sounded very enthused about the project.
