Director Davis Guggenheim is back with a new documentary, Waiting For Superman. The director won an Oscar for An Inconvenient Truth and he was behind one of the best docs of last year, It Might Get Loud. His new documentary on the failure of the American public education system premiered to rave reviews at Sundance this year and won the Audience Award. Check out the trailer below via Apple.
Synopsis: For a nation that proudly declared it would leave no child behind, America continues to do so at alarming rates. Despite increased spending and politicians’ promises, our buckling public—education system, once the best in the world, routinely forsakes the education of millions of children.
