After an initial line-up for the competition at 2015 Cannes Film Festival as well as its sidebars, we now have a few more additions before things get underway. Today the festival announced that the latest films from Guillaume Nicloux and Michel Franco will join the competition slate, while Cemetery of Splendour by Apichatpong Weerasethakul joins Un Certain Regard and Naomi Kawase‘s latest, Sweet Red Bean Paste (trailer), will help to open.
Perhaps most-anticipated of the new selection in terms of sheer curiosity is Gaspar Noe‘s latest, the 3D erotic feature Love, which has been added as a midnight screening. Check out the additions below, along with the trailers for Ciro Guerra‘s Directors’ Fortnight entry Embrace of the Serpent and Andrew Cividino‘s Sleeping Giant, part of Critics Week.
