In Brad Pitt news, Vulture is reporting that his production company Plan B Entertainment is planning to option the Michael Lewis book The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine. The book is about the crippled housing market in the United States.
Pitt could also play a starring role, after his previous Michael Lewis project Moneyball (where he was set to star) fell through pre-production. Capote director is now taking on the project. Pitt reportedly hasn’t relinquished Moneyball, and is eager to make that film as well. It is currently being rewritten.
