Once a scribe gets a work on the Black List, the world seems to open up to them. Such has been the case with Melissa Stack, an attorney who left her career after her spec script I Want To F*** Your Sister made the top ten of the prestigious selections in 2007. Since then, she wrote a draft of The King of Kong, as well as a romantic comedy called Pumas for CBS Films.

Now, though, she has been tapped by Twentieth Century Fox to write a feature-length film, described as a female revenge comedy similar to The First Wives Club, but with younger leads. There’s not much else to go on aside from that, though we do know that the film is being produced by Julie Yorn, who has had a hand in bringing us films as diverse as Max Payne, Bride Wars, and Unstoppable.

Granted, this scant information is still just that, but it does give us a brand new comedy on the horizon to look forward to.

What do you think? Is this enough information to get excited about, or do we need to wait for some more information before forming an opinion?
