Here in the US, Fox Searchlight has been going for the less is more approach with first theatrical poster and two haunting trailers, but it is safe to say over the in the UK we’ve gotten the best one-sheet and my favorite trailer thus far for one of the year’s greatest films. It won’t open over there until early 2012, but Empire has delivered the materials, which you can check out below.
Sean Durkin’s Sundance Film Festival hit (our review here) has gone on to play Cannes and been selected for New York Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival debuts. Featuring a stirring performance from Elizabeth Olsen, she stars alongside Winter’s Bone Oscar-nominee John Hawkes, Christopher Abbott, Brady Corbet, Hugh Dancy, Maria Dizzia, Julia Garner, Louisa Krause and Sarah Paulson.
