I’m still wondering if 20th Century Fox will acknowledge the Ohio zoo incident last month in any sort of capacity, but the latest trailer for Cameron Crowe‘s latest film certainly brings some comparisons. We Bought a Zoo, his return to filmmaking after over half-a-decade away,  follows a family who brings to life their own zoo. This latest international trailer is still a schmaltzy and family-friendly as the first, but we are able to learn a little bit more about the characters. I can’t see this one being a big awards contender, but I personally looke forward to a new Crowe film in theaters. Check it out below.

Sigur Rós frontman Jonsi is also providing the score and we finally have some solid details from our sister site 130BPM. The OST will feature songs from his last solo album including Go Do, Singking Friendships and Boy Lilikoi, as well as two new songs AEvin Endar and Gathering Stories. Then there is nine themes from Jonsi that also comprise the OST. As we know Crowe loves Sigur Rós, as he used them in previous films and stated the following on the close collaboration.

“Early on it was obvious that [Sigur Rós’] music would have a profound effect on the making of We Bought A Zoo… In preparation for making the movie, we gave all the actors and crew members a copy of Sigur Rós’ transcendent documentary, Heima… The actors listened to the music during their takes; it quickly became part of the film’s DNA.”
