Arriving in the early weeks of the summer, George Miller‘s brilliant action spectacle Mad Max: Fury Road set a high bar no other film could live up to over the next few months (and we imagine many more to come). We named it one of the year’s best films thus far and we imagine it’ll pop up on just about every year-end capper; with the Blu-ray arriving shortly, a few of the film’s deleted scenes have made their way online, expanding the treacherous world a bit more.

The first follows Max, Furiosa and gang, along with the Vuvalini, checking out the horizon before heading back to the Citadel. The next, which is NSFW, seems to occur towards the beginning of the film, in which a woman offers her baby (seen with unfinished VFX) up to be a War Boy, but gets disregarded. Instead, she shows she’s a “Milker” and is accepted to go to higher quarters. The last scene fleshes out villainous groups a bit more, but it’s easy to see why they were all cut out. Check it below and for more listen to our discussion of the film here.

Mad Max: Fury Road arrives on Blu-ray on September 1st.
