His comedy is darker than Antichrist and I love it. Now we know his next project via Production Weekly and /Film.
The writer/director is developing Rio Malo, an “asskicking western.” Surprisingly this will not be a dark comedy, rather an action/adventure story. It is reportedly about “crooked cops, unavenged murders, injustice, discrimination and drag.”
Rio Malo is looking to start production later this year and hopefully get some financing at Cannes.
