Before he directs his fourth feature, following a stint as Batman, Ben Affleck will go on the hunt for David Fincher. The actor is leading the director’s follow-up to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, once again an adaptation of a bestseller, this time tackling Gillian Flynn‘s mystery thriller Gone Girl.
We’ve now got our first look at Affleck as Nick Dunne, whose wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), mysteriously disappears on their fifth wedding anniversary. Coming from the official 20th Century Fox Twitter, we can see Affleck and Pike, as well as his her parents. Also among the cast is Tyler Perry as Tanner Bolt, the attorney of Affleck’s character and Neil Patrick Harris in the role of Amy Dunne’s ex-boyfriend, Desi Collins.
