Can you feel it? We’re only two weeks away from the year when a new season of Twin Peaks arrives. Knowing the anticipation full well, Showtime has been fairly cryptic when it comes to the return of David Lynch and Mark Frost to our television sets, not yet revealing any substantial footage. While we’ll likely have to wait until the first few months of next year to see such a trailer, tonight Showtime has premiered a new teaser.
Featuring everyone’s favorite FBI Regional Bureau Chief, the teaser finds Lynch back in character as Gordon Cole, chomping away on the town’s favorite snack. It’s the perfect tease as we ponder just how this massive ensemble will fit together. Check out the new teaser below, along with the other teaser videos in case you missed them.
Twin Peaks will return in 2017.
