We were sold by our first glimpse at George Miller’s return to the action genre, Mad Max: Fury Road, but for those still on the fence, or simply in need of more footage, a new full-length trailer has arrived today. Featuring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron as they’re involved in an large-scale action, this looks to be the most insane fun of the summer. Also starring Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Hugh Keays-Byrne, and Nathan Jones, check out the trailer, synopsis, poster, and a batch of teasers below for the film premiering at Cannes.
Haunted by his turbulent past, Mad Max believes the best way to survive is to wander alone. Nevertheless, he becomes swept up with a group fleeing across the Wasteland in a War Rig driven by an elite Imperator, Furiosa. They are escaping a Citadel tyrannized by the Immortan Joe, from whom something irreplaceable has been taken. Enraged, the Warlord marshals all his gangs and pursues the rebels ruthlessly in the high-octane Road War that follows.
