Two high-profile films have their poster debut today. First up is Universal’s delayed romantic sci-fi drama, The Adjustment Bureau, which hits in March. Based on the Philip K. Dick short story and written/directed by George Nolfi, the film stars Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, John Slattery, Terence Stamp and Shoreh Agdashloo. In the film “Damon play a US Senatorial candidate who’s up for election when he falls for a ballet dancer played by Blunt – but strange forces conspire to keep them apart.”
We have two new posters for the film, a UK quad from Empire above, and the US poster below via their Facebook page. I’m excited for the film, but unfortunately these posters look photoshopped to hell and doesn’t quite give off that old-school vibe it looks like they were trying for.
We also have the first poster for Dreamworks’ I Am Number Four. Directed by D.J. Caruso (Eagle Eye, Disturbia) the sci-fi adventure stars Alex Pettyfer, Timothy Olyphant, Teresa Palmer, Dianna Agron, Kevin Durand, Callan McAuliffe and Jake Abel.
Synopsis: The film is about an extraordinary teen, John Smith (Pettyfer), who is a fugitive on the run from ruthless enemies sent to destroy him. Changing his identity, moving from town to town with his guardian Henri (Olyphant), John is always the new kid with no ties to his past. In the small Ohio town he now calls home, John encounters unexpected, life-changing events—his first love (Agron), powerful new abilities and a connection to the others who share his incredible destiny.
I Am Number Four hits theaters in February.
