Update: The full short is now available to watch here.
Hot off the hilariously absurd comedy Wrong, Rubber director Quentin Dupieux is at it again. His latest film is Wrong Cops (no relation to his last film), and he’s set to prmeiere the first part in the form of a 13-minute short film at Cannes. Perhaps oddest of all is his main star, musician Marilyn Manson. The first clip below gives us our first glimpse at what seems to be the opening seen, a bystander who accidentally witnesses some public urination from a police officer. One can check it out below for the film also starring Mark Burnham and Grace Zabriskie and look forward to the full thing streaming online later this month.
Synopsis:
Duke, a crooked and music-mad cop, patrols in Los Angeles’ streets, music blasting and meets a young techno lover, David Dolores Frank. Appalled by the musical tastes of the young adolescent, Duke decides to give him a good music lesson.
Wrong Cops plays at Cannes and premieres on May 24th, 2012 (watch it here).
