Since any New York cinephile has a nearly suffocating wealth of theatrical options, we figured it’d be best to compile some of the more worthwhile repertory showings into one handy list. Displayed below are a few of the city’s most reliable theaters and links to screenings of their weekend offerings — films you’re not likely to see in a theater again anytime soon, and many of which are, also, on 35mm. If you have a chance to attend any of these, we’re of the mind that it’s time extremely well-spent.

While not a film, New Yorkers should take note of Lincoln Center’s free Chantal Akerman tribute on Saturday, which includes appearances by Jonas Mekas and Andrew Bujalski.

It Girls, Flappers, Jazz Babies & Vamps” has several two-for-one double-billings, including a von SternbergDietrich pairing this Friday, as well as Gold Diggers of 1933 and Dames on Sunday. A print of Pandora’s Box screens this Saturday with live musical accompaniment.

As part of “From the Third Eye: Evergreen Review on Film,” BAM will play the 1948 documentary Strange Victory throughout the week, while Andy Warhol‘s The Nude Restaurant screens on Friday. I Am Curious (Yellow) and Come Back, Africa play on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
