When he isn’t planning another project with Charlie Kaufman or directing one of the year’s best short films with the Arcade Fire, Spike Jonze is up to something new with Beastie Boys. His latest project is a music video for their song with Santigold titled Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win, from their latest Hot Sauce Committee Part 2.
It is a tale of the Beastie Boys as action figures, as you would play with them if you were 10-years-old. They don’t audibly speak and one can see hands in the frame (see in the right of the frame above). Leave it to Jonze to capture that perfect style.
