Although Toronto International Film took away some of the thunder when it announced its expansive initial line-up, today brings the official unveiling of the 2013 Venice Film Festival. As we know, Alfonso Cuaron‘s Gravity will open the festival, while rumors already swirled of Terry Gilliam stopping by with The Zero Theorem. Perhaps the biggest surprises of films that weren’t already announced at TIFF were Xavier Dolan‘s Tom at the Farm and Hayao Miyazaki‘s The Wind Rises, which will begin touring after a debut in Japan.
