Steve Jobs presented the Apple keynote at the 2010 Worldwide Developer’s Conference today. He showed off the newest generation of the iPhone. A few of the most interesting film-related highlights include the most popular iPad entertainment app, Netflix, will be coming to the iPhone.

CEO Reed Hastings confirms the free app will feature search, instant queue and streaming on 3G as well as Wi-Fi. Like the rest of the Watch instantly devices it will pick up right where you left off if you jump from your Xbox to iPad to computer to your iPhone. Check out some pics below via Engadget.

We also reported a couple weeks ago that Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Revolutionary Road) will be directing a set of iPhone 4 commercials. It looks like the first one has premiered and it is highlighting the new one on one videochat feature called FaceTime. Check it out below or in HQ at Apple.

The iPhone 4 is available  starting June 24th.

What do you think of the Netflix capability and the Sam Mendes commercial?
