Apparently, Jesper Christensen, aka Mr. White, will not be returning for the next Bond movie. MI:6 Forums (via Aint It Cool News) says that when asked bout his status in the Bond franchise while at the Berlin Film Festival for A Family he said:
[My] interlude as a villain in the James Bond series is over… Today, I admit that I regard [Casino Royale] and [Quantum of Solace] as really shit. All the people die in them, so two movies are enough for me.
As you may remember Mr. White gets away from bBond at the opera scene in ‘Quantum’ and is not heard from again. It seemed he was going to be key in revealing which corporation has been behind the last two movies. Of course, with some easy script writing, this can be solved (eg. killed between movies) not to mention a fat check. What wouldn’t be smart is if they replaced him in this series of Bonds as it’ll set off the continuity of recent movies.
