Although a release date looms in about half-a-year, filming still pushes onward for Marvel’s Iron Man 3 and we’ve got some new information regarding Shane Black‘s blockbuster today. He was confirmed for the cast back in September, replacing Andy Lau, but this morning we’ve got our first look at Wang Xuequi as Chen Lu, a former scientist who eventually becomes the villain Radioactive Man.

While his part is minor, above we can see him interact with co-stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle, as well as below with Robert Downey Jr. The production recently moved to China, which is becoming a major incentive for Hollywood due to a guaranteed release there, as seen this fall in Rian Johnson‘s Looper. Marvel has also released some new footage and below one can also see a brief Japanese trailer which excludes Ben Kingsley but adds more Pepper Potts for the film that will also star Guy Pearce, James Badge Dale and Rebecca Hall.

Iron Man 3 opens on May 3rd, 2013.
