I remember seeing the decent pilot for Fox’s Glee years ago. Since then it has struck a chord and become massive fit, spawning reality TV audition shows and concerts. Based on their recent concert tour, we now have a 3D movie directed by Fame helmer Kevin Tancharoen, and looks to be transferring that experience to the fans. This is no Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, which chronicles his life, just the songs and some backstage banter. After enjoying the first season, I’ve lost interest in the show, but for fans, this seems like a great opportunity.

20th Century Fox is also offering tickets to sneak previews of the film, two days before its August 12th bow. Check out more info on that here and the trailer below via Apple, featuring Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Mark Salling, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum, Chord Overstreet, Darren Criss, and Ashley Fink. Make sure you watch until the end for a funny bit by your favorite cheerleading coach.
