The Muppets series has always been one to poke fun at itself and the idea of franchises in general, so it’s no surprise that the first trailer for the sequel to 2011’s revival lays out the “bigger is better” plans right off the bat. Led by Ricky Gervais and backed by Ty Burrell and Tina Fey, our furry creatures are going on a global tour. If you liked the last work, chances are the next film, this time from director James Bobin (Flight of the Conchords), will be up your alley. Check out the trailer below featuring Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, The Great Gonzo, Animal and almost every other Muppet.

Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais.

Muppets Most Wanted opens on March 21st, 2014.
