We’ve seen set photos, but at CinemaCon /Film uncovered the first two “official” stills from Nicolas Winding Refn‘s Drive, as well as another FilmDistrict title, Lockout. Drive stars Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Ron Perlman, Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks, Christina Hendricks, and Oscar Issac. It is easily one of my most-anticipated films of the year and we recently got word Refn and Gosling will be teaming up for the big-budget Logan’s Run remake. Check out the images above and below.
Synopsis:
Hollywood stunt driver by day (Ryan Gosling), a loner by nature, moonlights as a top-notch getaway driver-for-hire in the criminal underworld. He finds himself a target for some of LA’s most dangerous men after agreeing to aid the husband of his beautiful neighbor, Irene (Carey Mulligan). When the job goes dangerously awry, the only way he can keep Irene and her son alive is to do what he does best—Drive!
Drive hits theaters September 16th, 2011.
As for Lockout, which we reported the production last summer, the sci-fi thriller directed by James Mather and Stephen St. Legeris is produced by Luc Besson and stars Guy Pearce and Maggie Grace. Check out the images below.
