We finally have the first look from George Nolfi’s sci-fi romance The Adjustment Bureau via Universal Pictures. The joins the ranks of Philip K. Dick short stories turned films. Some work great (Minority Report, Blade Runner) while others are quite the opposite (Next, Paycheck).

This one “follows an affair between a politician and a ballerina, which is affected by mysterious forces keeping the lovers apart.” Check out the photo (above and below) for the film that stars Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Anthony Mackie, John Slattery, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Michael Kelly and Terence Stamp. Expect a trailer tied to Universal’s Robin Hood.

The Adjustment Bureau hits theaters July 30th, 2010.
