Warner Bros. Pictures unleashed a shiny new trailer for Todd PhillipsDue Date today, and it looks absolutely hilarious.

Phillips’ first film since 2009’s highly acclaimed The Hangover, Due Date stars Robert Downey Jr. as Peter Highman, a first-time father whose wife’s due date is only five days away. In a rush to get home in time, Peter encounters Ethan Tremblay, an aspiring actor played by Zach Galifianakis. When Peter’s best efforts to get home to L.A. from Atlanta go awry, he’s left with no choice but to head to the West Coast with Ethan. The resulting cross-country road trip

It’s not hard to see the awesome potential Due Date has.  Phillips and Galifianakis were excellent together in The Hangover, and Robert Downey Jr. is one of the most watchable men in Hollywood today. In fact, this movie would have to go out of its way to not be funny. You don’t have to take my word for it, though. Watch the trailer and see for yourself:

Look for Due Date in theaters November 5, 2010.
