It’s no surprise that Oscar-winning screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie, who has worked with director Bryan Singer on The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie, X-Men, Apt Pupil and Public Access has decided to team up again for Jack The Giant Killer.

Update: First Showing previously reported this news. Check it out over there as well.

THR reports he is currently writing the newest draft of “the fantasy adventure, the tale of which is set in motion when a princess is kidnapped, threatening a long-standing peace between men and giants. A young farmer is given an opportunity to lead a dangerous expedition to the giants’ kingdom in hope of rescuing her.”

If you want some great background on their history together I highly suggest the Creative Screenwriting episode on Valkyrie. I’ve definitely enjoyed Singer’s work, especially with McQuarrie and I’m looking forward to this film.

Casting for the film will being soon for a shoot this summer in England.

Are you excited McQuarrie and Singer are teaming up again?
