According to Variety, actress Cameron Diaz (My Sisters Keeper) is in early talks for the lead female role in Warner Bros. new super hero film The Green Hornet. The film already has Seth Rogen (Observe & Report) in the lead role and Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) set to direct. The film is set to being production soon with a release date set for July 9, 2010.
It would be interesting to see Diaz opposite Rogen in any film. She is a well-established blockbuster actress with a certain amount of comedic chops, so this could be a good fit.
