Armando Iannucci got a much deserved Oscar nomination last year for his writing on the hilarious British comedy In The Loop. Now Empire is reporting he has his next gig lined up.

The new project is another BBC Films comedy, titled Out The Window. The Thick Of It writer Will Smith (no, not that one) is helping him write the script, along with Roger Drew.

No details on what the film is yet, but he told CHUD “If In the Loop is a screwball comedy the next film I want to do is a slapstick comedy, something with lots of visual comedy in it and physical comedy. I’m a big fan of Buster Keaton or the chase at the end of What’s Up Doc? It’s that classic physical comedy that I’ve always loved, and I don’t see that often. That’s the next thing I want to do, actually.”

Out The Window will have around a $20 million budget and will hit theaters as soon as next year.
