You just can’t keep Anton Yelchin away from franchise reboots. After the Star Trek and Terminator Salvation star was passed over in favor of Andrew Garfield for the lead role in the new incarnation of Spider-Man, you’d think that would be that for him and this particular project. But rumor has it that he is now in line to play Harry Osborn. [IMDB]
Granted, there’s nothing more than a listing of his name against the part on the project’s page. There is no news on where exactly this particular piece of information has come from, so treat it as speculation for now, but with Comic-Con just around the corner we may hear something more official on who will be joining Garfield‘s web-slinger then.
Plot details are still thin, so time will tell what Osborn’s story will be and whether the producers are planning a Green Goblin 2-arc, though this would be a strong possibility.
Do you think Anton Yelchin is right for the part of Harry Osborn?
