With a fourth film in the franchise one might wonder how exactly people are returning to an attraction where dinosaurs exists and have proven to enjoy eating whoever shows up. “We have seen that we will repeat our mistakes if there’s money on the table,” director Colin Trevorrow recently explained to EW. “It’s not about the danger of playing God. These animals are real, and they’re on our planet.”
We’ve now got a new full-length trailer for the Steven Spielberg-produced Jurassic World, which shows off more amusement ride mishaps and the gist of the story. Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park (1993), Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor’s interest, which backfires horribly.
