Reteaming for the first time in over a decade, the latest collaboration between Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks finds them heading back in time to the Cold War. Bridge of Spies, marking the first of yet another one-two punch by the director (The BFG will arrive next summer), comes from a script by Matt Charman as well as Ethan and Joel Coen, and the first trailer has now finally arrived.

Set against the backdrop of a series of historic events, the dramatic thriller tells the story of James Donovan, a Brooklyn lawyer who finds himself thrust into the center of the Cold War when the CIA sends him on the near-impossible task to negotiate the release of a captured American U-2 pilot. Also starring Mark Rylance (who leads The BFG), Scott Shepherd, Amy Ryan, Sebastian Koch, and Alan Alda, check out the trailer below, along with the poster and new images.
