No, this is not a fake film from Judd Apatow‘s Funny People. Dennis Dugan‘s Jack and Jill could be the funniest, most well-crafted comedy of all-time, but judging from the first trailer it is an astonishing new low for Adam Sandler. From the Grown Ups and Just Go With It director, this new film features a double Sandler as – you guessed it – Jack and Jill. To go along with the sliding career downfall, Al Pacino also appears in the film as himself, next to an equally fitting Katie Holmes. Shaquille O’Neal is also inexplicably in there somewhere.

You can see the trailer below via Yahoo, or if you want to endure Zookeeper this weekend, then you can see it on the bigscreen before that.

Synopsis:

Jack Sadelstein, a successful advertising executive in Los Angeles with a beautiful wife and kids, who dreads one event each year: the Thanksgiving visit of his identical twin sister Jill. Jill’s neediness and passive-aggressiveness is maddening to Jack, turning his normally tranquil life upside down.

Jack and Jill hits theaters November 11th, 2011.
