While he’s waiting to head into the desert with Robert Pattinson, director Werner Herzog will have some fun rocking out to The Killers. Joining other directors such as Gary Oldman, Terry Gilliam, Spike Lee, David Lynch and Todd Haynes, the Bad Lieutenant helmer has been tapped for another iteration of American Express’ Unstaged concert series.
A little teaser has just been released, which gives all the necessary information, including a 7PM EST start on September 18th over at the YouTube channel. Performed live at the Paradise Theater, I can only hope the concert includes existential Herzog voiceover. Oh, and hopefully a cameo from our favorite yellow alligator. Check out the teaser below and if you’re interested in some TV happenings with the director head over to THR where they have news on two television series from Herzog.
Will you tune in?

In theaters now, Ivan Reitman‘s new film, Draft Day, does quite a bit with a hard subject. Part of that is the writing, but a lot of the success on screen is due to the amassing of talent Reitman manages and the flash he implants into ordinary scenes. The life of a GM during a tumultuous and pressure-packed [...]
