It’s Halloween, which means tomorrow virtually every brand and advertiser will soon flip their calendar and in doing so, will begin an all-out assault of holiday marketing. Thankfully, there’s always a handful of spots that actually recruit some talented directors and manage to charm. This year, an early contender for the finest ads comes from Sofia Coppola, who worked with Gap on their Dress Normal campaign.

Ahead of her planned Christmas special with Bill Murray, the director helmed four spots which feature songs from Hazel and the Jolly Boys, Johnnie Ray, Johnny Cash, and The Promise. “Sofia has brilliantly translated Gap’s snapshots of these authentic family characters to the screen,” GAP CMO Seth Farbman, says. “Sofia is a great fashion icon and helped us bring our fashion themes to life alongside the storytelling of family fun for the festive season.” With a hat tip to Huffington Post, check them all out below ahead of their November 3rd start on a television near you.
