You may never find yourself at the Tribeca Film Festival, let alone in Tribeca itself — you certainly can’t afford to live there! am I right! — but even those remote from its happenings have some reason to be thankful. In the tradition of years past, they’ve hosted and, best of all, put online their Tribeca Talks, a series of (drum roll) discussions between leading figures in the film and entertainment industry. It’s like a podcast, except there’s a better chance that these people have life experience and know what they’re talking about.
2016 offers another fine set of participants: J.J. Abrams and Chris Rock; Joss Whedon and Mark Ruffalo; and Susanne Bier and Tom Hiddleston, who have AMC’s The Night Manager to promote. The others are a bit looser-limbed, though, of course, your mileage will vary based on what’s actually of interest.
But what else do you need? If you want to watch it, feel free to watch:
