After scripting X-Men, X2 and Watchmen, screenwriter David Hayter decided to make the jump to directing with the horror drama Wolves. Led by Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa and X-Men: First Class‘ Lucas Till, the film follows a young man who transforms into a werewolf and escapes to a small town called Lupine Ridge after being accused of murdering his parents. Not any normal town, Lupine Ridge is a hotbed of supernatural activity, where he uncovers secrets to his past.
The first trailer has now landed, which unfortunately looks to lean towards the so-bad-it-could-be-good category, with subpar production value and a fair amount of cheesiness. Check it out below as it gears up for a small theatrical release via Ketchup Entertainment.
Wolves is expected to land this summer.
