A new trailer for Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck’s The Tourist just popped up online without warning. It’s a quicker, snappier look at the action/comedy than the first trailer. The director took home the Oscar for The Lives of Others in 2006 and got the offer to direct this spy thriller starring Johnny Depp, Angelina Jolie, Paul Bettany, Rufus Sewell and Timothy Dalton. Plot: Frank is an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path. Against the breathtaking backdrop of Venice, Frank pursues a potential romance but soon finds himself the pursued as he and Elise are caught in a whirlwind of intrigue and danger.
The Tourist hits theaters December 10th.
