Back in November we told you that Star Trek 2 wasn’t going to be released any time before 2012. Star Trek and Avatar star Zoe Saldana has also said they will start pre-production at the end of this year. Thanks to Coming Soon it can be confirmed that the official release date for Star Trek 2 will be June 29, 2012. With this summer’s smash hit raking in almost $400 million worldwide, it was only a matter of time before an official announcement. My only question is if director J.J.
