Are you ready for more Jack Sparrow in your life? When Disney isn’t hating that gay pirate, they are planning to make more money off of him. With Rob Marshall‘s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides set to come out next summer, Disney is planning to repeat the back-to-back shooting they did with two and three. HitFix got the details below:

HitFix can now exclusively report that Disney has begun quietly telling cast and crew to set aside a major block of time in the very near future so they can shoot “Pirates 5” and “Pirates 6.” And, yes, once again, they will be shooting them back-to-back as one giant film, and then they’ll release them as two films.

With the fourth movie set to take off in a very different direction than the last, losing two of its stars, the studio plans to relaunch these next set as a new trilogy. The also report that Pirates 4 “is already the single highest greenlight budget of all time.”

Depp has plans for Tim Burton‘s Dark Shadows and Pirates 1-3 helmer Gore Verbinski‘s The Lone Ranger next year, so I couldn’t see production starting until 2012, or winter 2011 in Hawaii. With this shooting schedule it looks like we will see it possibly premiere next to the other massive back-to-back sequels; the conclusion of James Cameron‘s Avatar trilogy (set for 2014/2015).

Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides‘ trailer will premiere on December 13th and the film hits theaters on May 20, 2011.
