We already have a wonderful little teaser, but today, Focus Features have finally released some official stills for Wes Anderson‘s Moonrise Kingdom. Coming from Empire, we can see Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton and Bill Murray in awe of something in front of them. Then below, Norton and his gang are presumably checking on the empty tent where the boy scout played by Jared Gilman has escaped. The last photo is him uniting with Kara Hayward as the film follows the town members in search of the duo, who fall in love and run away. I’ve been eagerly anticipating this one and judging from the materials I’ve seen, it looks like Anderson is back in top form. Check out the photos above and below.
Synopsis:
Set on an island off the coast of New England in the summer of 1965, MOONRISE KINGDOM tells the story of two twelve-year-olds who fall in love, make a secret pact, and run away together into the wilderness. Bruce Willis plays the local sheriff. Edward Norton is a Khaki Scout troop leader. Bill Murray and Frances McDormand portray the young girl’s parents.
