When Toronto International Film Festival expanded their line-up this morning there was quite a big surprise, as Joel Schumacher‘s Trespass starring Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman was announced as a premiere. It was originally rumored to be a straight-to-DVD/VOD release, but is looks like the thriller will get a snazzy showing after all. Check out the photos above and below also featuring co-star Cam Gigandet, who is also joined by Liana Liberato, Nico Tortorella, Dash Mihok, Jordana Spiro and Ben Mendelsohn.

Synopsis:

What happens when a man with everything – a beautiful wife, a teenage daughter and a wealthy estate – is confronted with the reality of losing it all? That is what Kyle Miller must come to terms with as he and his family become the victims of a vicious home invasion.

We also have a new batch of photos from Andrea Arnold‘s Fish Tank follow-up Wuthering Heights, which will also premiere at Venice Film Festival. Based on Emily Bronte‘s classic novel, the film stars James Howson as Heathcliff, as well as Kaya Scodelario, Steve Evets, Oliver Milburn and Nicola Burley. Check out the photos above and below.

Synopsis:

The story follows a Yorkshire hill farmer on a visit to Liverpool who finds a homeless boy on the streets. He takes him home to live as part of his family on the isolated Yorkshire moors where the boy forges an obsessive relationship with the farmer’s daughter.

The Toronto International Film Festival runs September 8th to 18th.
