After making a splash with In a World.. a few years back, a trailer has now just arrived for I Do Until I Don’t, an ensemble comedy from writer-director Lake Bell. Described quite directly as a comedy about matrimony, the film seems to follow the standard trappings of an ensemble piece. The conceit centers around a filmmaker whose trying to prove that after seven years of marriage, there should be an option to the couple whether or not they want to renew.

As usual, misunderstandings and comedy ensues, as the likes of Ed Helms, Mary Steenburgen, Wyatt Cenac, Paul Reisser, and Lake Bell herself work in tandem. Whether or not this ensemble stands out from the pack, or blends in with the rest, remains to be seen. See the trailer below, along with a poster and synopsis, with a tip of the hat to The Playlist.

An ensemble comedy following three couples stuck in the web of a jaded filmmaker looking to prove that marriage should be a seven-year contract with an option to renew. From the acclaimed director of In A World comes I Do…Until I Don’t featuring an all-star cast of Lake Bell, Ed Helms, Mary Steenburgen, Paul Reiser, Wyatt Cenac, and Dolly Wells.
