Cue the theme we’ve all come to know so well! Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 is heading to theaters November 19 (in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D) so marketing momentum is picking up!

Below is the latest poster, followed by three previously released banners.

The teaser banners were tantalizing, but the new poster is pretty blah; it looks more like a precautionary ad about the danger of forest fires than the climactic final chapter of a magical adventure. The wiz(ard) kids are grown up, and so there’s less focus on owls, monsters, and magic in this poster and more emphasis on our heroes in action. (Sprinting is an action.)

I guess standing still with a menacing glare is kids’ stuff.

How do you think this poster stacks up to the series’ previous posters? Will you be rushing to see HP7.1?
